Kristina Stenton has been qualified for over 10 years with a Masters degree in Osteopathy with
Distinction from the University College of Osteopathy. Over this time she has had extensive experience
of providing individualised and effective treatment plans for a diverse range of musculoskeletal issues,
giving you expert advice, reassurance, high quality, experienced hands on therapeutic treatment and aids
to help you self manage your symptoms.
Being active herself, enjoying running, hiking and cycling, she looks forward to helping you to do the same, keeping you comfortable, well and active, whatever it is in life that you want to do! Kristina enjoys helping people recover from their sporting injuries and strains providing expert assessment, diagnosis, manual therapy, advice and rehabilitation. She also enjoys generally relieving the stresses and tensions of daily life and work, giving complementary postural advice and exercises plus supporting women through pregnancy, promoting comfort, reduced stress and overall wellness as part of prenatal care. Joseph Gaynor achieved a master's degree in Osteopathy from the University College of Osteopathy; prior to this he studied Sport and Exercise Science.
He has over 5 years of experience working in a clinical setting and enjoys treating a wide range of patients, from office workers to athletes, with each session being tailored specifically for the patient.
He was attracted to Osteopathy through his own sporting injuries, having a 10 year history of competing in track and field. Now in practice he uses a combination of his personal experience, the latest research and his professional attitude aiming to optimise a patient's health.
Joseph restores patient confidence, and enjoys being part of the journey back to optimal health. His approach is hands-on, but believes that exercise is a fundamental aspect for recovery, so will often hand homework to patients!
Joseph is fully trained in Sports massage, Deep tissue massage, medical acupuncture and K-Taping which he integrates into his treatments.
Joseph also offers treatment for Pregnancy massage. He provides comfortable and effective treatment to relieve aches and pains in this exciting time of Pregnancy.
Gurdeep graduated from The University College of Osteopathy (formerly the British School of Osteopathy) in 2014 with a Master's degree in Osteopathy and a diploma in Sports massage and has been part of the team at Stanmore Health since soon after. She is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and also a member of The Institute of Osteopathy. Gurdeep is accustomed to seeing a wide range of patients, tailoring the treatments to suit the individual. She uses articulation , mobilization, soft tissue and sports massage treatment as well as trigger point inhibition techniques, to help restore the body's natural healthy state.
Aaishwarya Patel (Ash) qualified with a Masters in Osteopathy from one of the leading institutes, The University College of Osteopathy. Regulated by the General Osteopathic Council, she applies a range of treatment modalities with the overall aim to increase the patients' health and wellbeing through a holistic approach. Ranges of techniques are applied during treatment sessions to facilitate healing. Some of the techniques used are spinal manipulation, deep tissue techniques, joint mobilisation, kinesio taping, exercise rehabilitation including yoga postures and pilates based core stability techniques.
She has treated in a number of clinics, including The Royal Free Hospital, East Street GP Surgery and a number of other specialised and general clinics.
Her success lies in her experience and her supportive and friendly nature, making treatment effective and educational. Each treatment is specific to the individual and their concerns; taking into consideration individuals' lifestyle. Ash has a keen interest in nutrition, headaches and posture. In her spare time, she enjoys experimenting with recipes, walking, dancing, and tutoring maths.
Ash aspires to continuously improve her knowledge in her profession through continual professional development to provide the latest form of treatment and service for her patients'. She seeks to take part in courses in the field of Osteopathy to further broaden her understanding and knowledge.
Rory Fairbairn M.Ost Rory graduated from University College of Osteopathy (formally the British School of Osteopathy) with a Masters degree in Osteopathy. He is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and a member of the Institute of Osteopathy. Rory has been treating patients in various clinical settings including a specialist Sports Clinic, Blackfriars for elderly patients and at the Royal Free Hospital in the Blanchard Clinic for patients who are HIV positive. He is passionate about using a compassionate bio-psychosocial approach to treatment along with a balance of manual interventions, rehabilitative exercises and clinical advice. He applies the core principles of osteopathy, working with the body's self- healing mechanism in order to achieve optimum health for those of all ages. His personal interests include mountaineering, running, music, psychology and philosophy.
